The Republican presidential candidates were herded together for their second debate of the campaign season. Overall, we were impressed that so many people could be crammed on to the main stage for the marathon session. But the format left a great deal to be desired. If we want to watch a scrum, we'll find a Rugby match on late night TV. If we want to hear what the possible future president thinks and believes...well, we'll just have to keep on waiting for that event.
Will he or won't he?
That was the question politicos were asking about Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee's loyalty oath. Would Trump sign it and forego a third party run? Would he tell them to go pound sand?
He signed it. All 17 candidates signed it.
Now we can move on to other topics, right?
