Helping Wounded Veterans on Thanksgiving

thanksgiving">Thanksgiving is in a few days. For most people, that means a family gathering and a feast to celebrate the blessings we've enjoyed throughout the year. But there are others for whom Thanksgiving is a time of worry, and even hunger.

We're talking about wounded veterans -- men and women who have made enormous personal sacrifices to ensure that the rest of us can enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday in peace.

Some of them have been burned. Others, blinded. Many have lost limbs or suffer from traumatic injuries.

And they have nothing this Thanksgiving...not even enough money for the simplest Thanskgiving meal for their families.

One group -- the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes -- is out to change that.

The Coaltion's 2014">2014 Thanksgiving meals Project is underway right now. It's goal is simple: provide woudned veterans and their families with a warm, nutrious meal this Thanskgiving.

We hope you will support his project with your tax deductible gift of $60, $120 or whatever you can afford.  Making a donation is easy. Just click here and follow the instructions.

The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes provides emergency financial support to wounded veterans. No shuffling them off to other groups or telling them to call the VA. If a wounded veteran needs help, the Coalition provides it -- immediately and personally.

We hope you will consider making a gift to this incredible organization they can give a vet who has sacrificed so much for us something to celebrate this Thanksgiving.
