If you think the plan by far-left Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s for outright gun confiscation is scary, the recent outbreak of “red flag” laws is far worse. Here’s why: With between 15 million and 20 million so-called “assault rifles” in Americans’ hands, O’Rourke’s scheme for “mandatory buybacks” and/or gun confiscation would be met with massive resistance and perhaps even violence. Which means it’s not going to happen anytime soon.
