The group's international governing body has taken steps it says are intended to clear up any ambiguities in its bylaws regarding guns, gun shows, raffles, and sponsorships. But some see it as a move to make lawful gun owners unwanted inside its ranks:
Congress is debating legislation that would "allow a qualified individual to carry a concealed handgun into or possess a concealed handgun in another state that allows individuals to carry concealed firearms."
The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling this week that upheld a Maryland gun control law that supposedly prevents dangerous, military style weapons from ending up in private hands. The anti-gun left is happy with the ruling.
